🌶️ Flavor, Fun, and Friendly Competition

Cinco de Mayo brought the heat with Alamar’s Salsa Contest. From mild to mouth-on-fire, residents brought their best recipes and boldest flavors in a celebration of food and connection. Mommies & Mimosas treated moms to a magical morning with bubbly drinks, chair massages, a bloom bar, playful games, and fabulous prizes—a relaxed, feel-good celebration full of laughter and connection.

Dad’s Day Out offered an afternoon of BBQ, brews, trivia, and fun—celebrating dads with big smiles, good company, and plenty of laid-back entertainment.

🎆 Stars, Stripes, and Summer Fun

Nothing says summer like water, sunshine, and patriotic fun. Stars, Stripes & Splash was an afternoon of laughter, water games, and red-white-and-blue spirit—an effortless way to celebrate Independence Day and cool off at the same time. With a DJ, dunk tank, watermelon-eating contest, and festive bites, neighbors soaked up the summer together. 🍿 Movie Night, Poolside

Alamar’s first Dive-In Movie night blended relaxation and community connection under the stars. Families floated, lounged, and laughed while enjoying popcorn, ice pops, and a feel-good film—a simple evening that became a core memory for many.

🌺 A Night in the Islands

Residents were swept away on a journey through the islands during a resident-only luau. Welcomed with leis and Hawaiian treats, guests enjoyed hula dancers, fire knife performances, cultural storytelling, and neighborly mingling. Alamar residents enjoyed a VIP experience complete with a Beetlejuice-themed photo booth, treats for pups, and goodies for kids. 👻 Spooky Season, Community Style

Alamar Park welcomed thousands of ghouls and goblins during the City of Avondale’s Creepin’ Candy Crawl. The Alamar Community Life Team transformed the park into a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure, complete with candy, décor, and exclusive resident giveaways. From trick-or-treating through the park to snapping photos with costumed neighbors, the event highlighted Alamar’s strong connection to the greater Avondale community—while still creating something extra special for residents.

🎶 Music, Cars, and Fall Evenings

Season’s Grove Park came alive with Concert & Cars in the Park, combining soulful music, classic cars, and easygoing energy. Evenings like this highlighted what makes Alamar special: relaxed fun, great company, and neighbors connecting effortlessly.

🎅 Wrapping the Year in Holiday Magic

The year closed with warmth, tradition, and togetherness. Home for the Holidays brought families together to enjoy cozy moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, s’mores, festive crafts, and playful snowball fights. Kids wrote letters to Santa, hung homemade ornaments on the community tree before the tree-lighting ceremony—a moment that captured the heart of Alamar with shared traditions, simple joy, and the feeling of belonging.
