Bring your furry friends for a barking good time at Barks & Treats, the ultimate howl-o-ween pooch party hosted by the City of Avondale Parks & Recreation.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Alamar Park, and get ready for tail-wagging fun, tasty treats, and seasonal celebration.
A Morning of Furry Fun
Barks & Treats is a dog and family-friendly event designed to bring neighbors together in the spirit of fall. From wag-worthy activities to pup-perfect photo ops, there’s something for every member of the family.
Here’s what you and your pup can look forward to:
- Pet yoga to start the morning right (yoga begins at 8:30 AM—register here)
- Dog costume contest with paw-some prizes (contest begins at 10 AM—register here)
- Food trucks serving up delicious bites
- Creative, dog-inspired crafts
- Festive photo ops
- Pet exhibitors & vendors to shop and explore
- On-site pet adoptions
