Stars, Stripes, & Splash: Celebrating Independence Day at Alamar
Red, white, and a whole lot of community pride—that’s what the 4th of July is like at Alamar. Located in Avondale, this 1,150-acre master-planned community is designed with connection at its core. A Star-Spangled Evening
Neighbors rolled into Hay Moon Pool with decorated bikes, scooters, and wagons, ready to kick off a summer evening full of fun. Patriotic outfits and plenty of red, white, and blue set the scene for an unforgettable gathering rooted in community spirit.
A live DJ spun dance-worthy tunes, keeping the energy levels high while kids and adults alike splashed in the pool and challenged each other to carnival-style games. A dunk tank brought out friendly competition, and the always-popular watermelon eating contest was just as messy (and fun) as you'd imagine.
From toddlers to teens and parents to grandparents, every age joined the fun. It wasn’t just a party—it was a showcase of the playful, engaged energy that defines life at Alamar.
Food, Fireworks, & Fun
As the sun set, neighbors cooled off with signature cocktails and mocktails from the mobile bar, grabbed tasty bites from local favorite American Top Dog, and satisfied their sweet tooth with slices of pie.
Just 3 miles away, fireworks from the Phoenix International Raceway lit up the night sky, offering residents a front-row seat framed by the Sierra Estrella Mountains to one of the best shows in Phoenix, all from the comfort of their own community pool.
