Alamar Residents Honored with Avondale’s First “Property All-Star Curb Appeal Award”

That pride was recently celebrated when Jay and Andy Perez were named the inaugural winners of The City of Avondale’s “Property All-Star Curb Appeal Award”, a new quarterly recognition honoring homeowners who go above and beyond to maintain their property with care and community spirit.

Nominated by a neighbor, Jay and Andy were praised for their meticulous upkeep and beautifully maintained landscaping that makes their home feel welcoming and cared for. Their consistent care doesn’t just enhance their own home—it elevates all of Alamar.
Cultivating Beauty Across Avondale
The award, presented at a recent Avondale City Council meeting, is part of a larger city initiative to promote pride in property ownership and encourage beautification across communities and neighborhoods in Avondale. Winners are selected by the Neighborhood and Family Services Commission and City staff, based on community-submitted nominations.
